Your Role as a Business Developer
This isn’t just a sales role – it’s a unique opportunity to identify, convert, and grow customers by leveraging your strategic mindset and relentless drive for results. You’ll excel as a "hunter," seeking out and capitalizing on new business opportunities to drive Iver’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect Like a Pro: Continuously identify potential customers within target verticals using a variety of tools and techniques, from digital platforms to in-person networking.
- Convert Opportunities: Leverage your consultative selling skills to qualify leads and close deals with a clear focus on value-driven outcomes.
- Grow Relationships: Build and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring customers feel prioritized and supported.
- Target Success: Work with clear KPIs and sales targets, taking ownership of achieving and exceeding them.
- Collaborate Strategically: Partner with internal teams to design tailored IT solutions that address unique customer challenges and deliver measurable business impact.
What You Bring
You thrive on competition, are energized by achieving targets, and take pride in delivering exceptional results. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven Sales Hunter Mindset: A natural ability to spot opportunities, qualify leads, and turn them into successful deals.
- Strong Prospecting Skills: Confidence in engaging cold leads and turning them into valuable customers.
- Excellent Negotiation Skills: The ability to handle objections, manage complex sales processes, and close deals effectively.
- Customer-Centric Focus: A talent for building trust with clients, identifying their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that add real value.
- Vertical Market Expertise: Deep knowledge of at least one target industry – Manufacturing & Life Sciences, Consumer Products & Retail, Financial Services, Professional Services & High-Tech, or the Public Sector – enabling you to speak the customer’s language and address their specific challenges.
- IT Solutions Know-How: Experience selling Managed IT Services, Cloud, and Security solutions, with foundational IT knowledge to position these offerings effectively.
- Excellent Communication Skills: An ability to articulate complex solutions in a compelling and persuasive manner.
- Resilience and Tenacity: Persistence in the face of challenges and a willingness to continuously pursue new opportunities.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
